Welcome to the Summer Term! Let’s hope for a term filled with beautiful weather!
The children will be involved in an exciting curriculum this term, looking at how Parliament was formed, designing circuits, using coding to make computer programs, learning more about the work of the apostles and taking part in skills based activities in PE. Please see the attached curriculum planner for further details.
The children will be taking their end of year tests during the week beginning 9th May – the best of luck to everyone taking part! The children have been working extremely hard during the course of year 6, and they deserve to do well.
I am currently finalising plans for the Year 6 trip to London – the children will spend two busy days completing many activities and seeing many sights. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children and will be a fitting ending to their time at primary school.
The end of year production rehearsals will get into full swing after the test week has finished – I am looking forward to working with the children in producing a wonderful performance of The Little Shop of Horrors!
As always, I will be sending home weekly class newsletters and homework.
Please ensure PE kits are in school for the duration of the week, and taken home for washing at the weekend.
