Christmas decoration making in DT

Over the past few weeks Year 3 have been designing and making their very on Christmas decorations to hang on their tree.

The children all had to practice threading a needle and tieing a knot which was really not easy but I think they mastered it in the end.

They cut out the design and put on some appliqué before sewing it together remembering to leave a gap so they could stuff it.

Once they had completed their masterpieces they evaluated their work. 

I am sure you will agree they all did a great job.
