Vision Statement
St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School Environmental Vision
As a catholic school we take our responsibility of caring for God’s world seriously. We know that we do not do enough so we are working with the school council to create an action plan to limit wastage and promote greener practices within school.
The Governing Body has written the following Vision Statement.
"As a Catholic school, we acknowledge our Christian responsibility for the world we will leave to children who are growing up at a time of environmental change and ecological crisis. We will seek to guide our children to appreciate the goodness of God's creation and the importance of their relationship with the local community and the world around them to their lifestyle choices. We will work to place our relationship with our God, our neighbour and the earth at the heart of our decisions about use of resources in the school and care for the surrounding environment. "
