Inclusion

Our Commitment to Inclusion

At St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School, we believe that every child is unique, valued and deserves the opportunity to flourish. Rooted in our Catholic ethos, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to removing barriers to learning, ensuring equity of opportunity and providing a nurturing, supportive environment where all pupils feel safe, included and able to achieve their full potential. Our Inclusion Strategy sets out how we identify and respond to individual needs through early intervention, high-quality adaptive teaching, targeted support and strong partnerships with families and external professionals. We are ambitious for every child, providing the right balance of support and challenge to ensure that all pupils, whatever their starting points, are encouraged to thrive, achieve their potential and develop their individual talents. Our Inclusion Framework outlines our priorities, the provision we put in place and how we use our resources effectively to make a meaningful difference to the children in our care.
