Sipping homemade lemonade in the sunshine

The children have really enjoyed taking care of our edible garden in Reception. They've been making sure our plants have been watered in the recent dry weather and it's wonderful to see their excitement as they see the mint leaves flourish and the wild strawberries and blackcurrants start to ripen.

We made the most of the beautiful weather on Thursday by picking some of our lemon balm and mint leaves and making homemade lemonade. Judging by the empty cups, it was definitely a success!
