We use a provider called Aspens for our school meals,

The Government introduced Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) in September, 2014. All pupils in Reception and Years 1&2 are entitled to these.

We regularly upgrade our facilities in order to enhance provision for the pupils and provide a varied, nutritionally balanced menu.

We aim to offer all home-made dishes, from main courses to desserts, with extra portions of healthy salad and a slice of bread. The children can choose from a wide selection of meals each day and then help themselves to fruit for afters. If any child has a specific dietary need, we will cater for their needs.

Each day we offer : 'The main event' (a meat-based option), 'Meatless magic' (Vegetarian option), jacket potatoes or pasta

At morning break,  we offer the option of toast for each child in years 1 - 6. We provide the Reception class with a selection of fruit & vegetables and a cup of milk each day, free of charge. On Fridays we have a ‘Special’ day when children who normally bring their own snacks can have an 'unhealthy' snack. Aspens provide special menus for key school events.
