' Beyond Lies More'  

Racial Equality Week.

This week saw the start of a racial equality project in school which has been inspired by ‘Beyond Lies More’ (a piece of art commissioned by Graham Finch of Ice Gallery in Wilmslow).

We have joined with the All Hallows learning community in this project and some year 5 pupils had the privilege of meeting Luther Burrell who shared his experiences of racism in the sporting world. He inspired the year 5 girls who said that in the future they would, ‘take actions instead of using words’ and ‘ speak out to stop racism when they hear it’.
