#BigLentWalk for CAFOD

Next week, children across the school will be taking part in the 'Big Lent Walk' to raise money for CAFOD. CAFOD is an international development charity which reaches out to people living in poverty, with practical help, whatever their religion or culture. St Benedict’s Big Lent Walk is taking place in March


Reception, Year1 and Year 2 will be walking to and around the fields next to Total Fitness.

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be walking to Styal.

We will be busy in school preparing our children for the walk and making sure

they understand the great work CAFOD do.

Important information

Consent for the trip needs to be given on School Gateway.

Children will need suitable footwear, e.g. wellies or walking boots. The recent

weather has left the fields very muddy.
Children will require a waterproof coat.
Snacks should be labelled
