Silk Museum Trip

Year 4 had an amazing day at Macclesfield Silk Museum today as part of their Victorians topic. They looked around a working mill and tried their hand at weaving, piecing, threading and operating the machinery. They made rag rugs and experienced Victorian home life, a school day and played with traditional toys (which were such a novelty and really popular!)
