Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Reception Year: 2022 - 2023

We said goodbye to our chicks today and returned Chocolate, Fluffy, Softy and Beaky to Shenton's Farm.  A huge thanks to Shentons for providing us every year with eggs, the incubator and all the grain and sawdust to provide a happy home for our chicks. It's a such a wonderful experience for the children in Reception to wait patiently for 3 weeks for the eggs to hatch and, if we are lucky, get to see the chicks emerge, and then see how quickly the chicks grow and develop. Thank you!
